Summer is the perfect time to enjoy Yamanashi! You'll be surrounded by beautiful forests, wasabi farms, cosmos flowers, and Bbuckwheat flowers at the origin of the famous Tamagawa River. The 20KM course takes you past beautiful forests and plateaus up to 1,300m (4,265ft high) where the Tamagawa River flows from. Take in the natural beauty of the village and the refreshing aura of the forest.

The course starts at Yamanasahi Prefecture's Kosuge Hot Springs. You'll immediately move uphill all the way to Tsuruneyama, which is filled with Wasabi farms and massive forests thriving from the spring water. It is then downhill from Tsuruneyama to Tsurutoge. You'll climb up again to Mount Mito and Omakihira, then downhill to Kosuge River. Runners may enjoy the boardwalk along the Kosuge River before relaxing their weary bodies at the natural hot water springs after crossing the finish line.
